MORE

and more individuals are estranged from their surroundings while they conduct their lives online; in fact their spaces are often featureless, consisting of neutral bare walls, media surfaces, and seating ranging from ergonomic to fatiguing. How can we energize these environments?

THIS

project The Temperament of Space addresses our relationship to space, not only as represented by four walls but also as required by oneʼs mind to hold thoughts in the midst of distraction, to assemble meaning from fragments, to construct what one remembers. Sound is  evoked as environment; it is the intangible art form that surrounds our living spaces. Furthermore, the elements in the installation will suggest pathways to integrating our digital practices with our embodied space.
